At Reunion, we are helping the people of the Western Catskills leverage community spirit into positive social change through heartfelt dialogue and direct action.
Our programs include legal empowerment trainings, advice and counsel programs, civic circles, and healing circles, with a particular emphasis on housing insecurity.

When youth are given space to breathe, to gather around firelight, and to feel nature’s embrace, cycles of harm begin to break.
Reunion’s Heartfire Gatherings offers preventative healing, leaving participants with resilience, lasting mentor bonds, and the tools to envision a hopeful future.
Heartfire Gatherings are a homecoming into nature and our past. They are a co-created celebration between typically siloed rural and urban communities.
Our Story
Together with community members, healers, volunteers, and restorative practitioners, we are building a bridge between urban and rural communities — reuniting at-risk individuals with nature, with one another, and with their own inner paths. Reunion is currently being developed as a 501(c)(3), with status to be finalized in 2026.
